They did a study and found people of Mediterranean decent have the most attractive blood to mosquitos.

I was told blood type is a factor. I'm -O and get bitten all the time.

build a bat house in your neighbors yard, preferably 2-3 houses away

They hardly ever bother me. I can be standing next to somebody being eaten alive and not get bit at all.

Exactly what i was going to say- bats eat 5 pounds of mosquitoes a night. Bossier has bat houses all down the parkway for this reason

for some reason they don't bother me much either, wife, daughter and I can be sitting in the back yard and if there's a couple of mosquitos within a mile they'll start doing sorties on them and usually won't touch me

If you live in the city limits you can call mosquito control and they will come fig your yard every week for free. We have been doing for a few months now and makes a big difference.

Mosquitos are territorial so you pee along your property line. It works great to keep out coyotes too. If you run out of pee Bud light works just as good.

I don't like spraying pesticides frequently where we hang out. We use fans.

Thermacell. Doesn't kill, just confuses.
