Subway is definitely hurting. COVID hit them hard because of no drive thrus.

Around here, Hardee's has a very firm grip on the fast food breakfast market.

Is Ward’s a struggling chain? I’ve never eaten there and never see anyone there

Yeah there is one 15 minutes from me in Barnesville, GA that opened a couple of years ago.

Arby's now has healthier sandwiches that are pretty good, so is pulling some of that business from travelers tired of burgers or chicken.
I get their Turkey Bacon Ranch Market Fresh sandwich. It's so fricking good and I'm not normally a swiss cheese guy.

I'll have to give that one a try.

If your trying to eat healthy. Subway has seems to have more options for eating earthy than the other sandwich chains.
Now if you get a foot long meatball on white bread then yeah, that ain’t good for you.

I like the way Arby’s tastes, but I stopped going there because I noticed I always had diarrhea the next day.

In reality, their market fresh sandwiches are disguised as healthy…that’s about it.
The turkey ranch and Swiss sammy has:
28g of fat (7 sat)
1930mg sodium
79 carbs!!!

I’m surprised Subway hasn’t gone under years ago. Their spongey, chemically derived bread is the worst

Arby’s has so many great things. And even just the standard Beef n Cheddar is so good I order like a fat arse getting multiple sandwiches. Seriously their offerings are so good it’s almost dysfunctional to try and choose.

Jersey Mike's.
The oil and vinegar takes over the flavor of everything else.
At least at Jersey Mike's you're getting freshly sliced deli meats and cheeses and if I only want a little oil and vinegar I can tell them that.
At Firehouse subs you get some Oscar Meyer overly processed lunchmeat shoved in a damn sauna on some dry arse bread gets even more dry on a conveyer. They have to do that to soak up the steamy wet overly salty meat juice that still manages to get all over the place. Don't get it steamed, sure but it's still dry arse bread and nasty lunch meat.
Jersey Mikes > Firehouse Soggy arse Subs
