I misplaced a bank envelope with $5000 in it.I knew it was somewhere in my RV so I knew i would find it but it drove me nuts till I did.
The weird thing is that the reason I had that envelope and money was because my mom had hidden it in her car and forgotten about it being there because she had Alzheimer's.
I'm still finding things like jewelry she had tucked away.

My wife lost her job and she had about 500k in stock and stock options that was vesting within the next 3 years. Stock went from $32 to $182 the last 6 years.

My dog once ate a $20 bill but was courteous enough to leave piece of a cornerwuld I wold know what she ate. Started putting the cash in a lot higher location after that.

I’ll never know what it’s worth now, but I had about 50-100 bitcoins in my bitcoin wallet from the early 00s, which I no longer have access to.
