20 gauge, modified choke, 28 inch. Perfect quail gun. My gun before then was a 410, full choke, pump. I had to count 2 before I shot. Wanted food on the table, not feathers on the field.

When I worked at a plant one of the raffle prizes at our annual safety celebration was a 12 gauge shotgun. I didn't win it, but my boss did. He was superintendent over crap like compliance and safety, and nobody really clapped because he damned sure made enough money to buy his own shotgun.

It was so sweet hearing my son nerd out on gun attachments while showing him some stuff on Call of Duty. Proud dad moment for me.
