The comment I was referring to is a MGTOW/incel buzzword. The study you shared gives many explanations as to why someone with multiple partners might be bad at relationships, or their history might make future relationships difficult, but no where in that data or the article does it say that “Women begin to lose the ability to long-term pair bond.” I’m of the opinion that women are individuals, some of whom can sleep around before having a faithful, fulfilling relationship, and others who will continue to sleep around because, like some men, it’s just their thing.

Also, that study is funny. It’s all people from Utah (not a representative sample of the US and especially not Louisiana, where most of this board is from), in a journal called Family Studies and the best part is actually counter to your argument, as women with 21+ partners are happier than women with four partners. Also, only two of the data points are statistically significant with a p value less than 0.05, which means that most of the data had a good likelihood of being the result of random chance rather than an accurate representation of marital satisfaction.
