Uprooted about a dozen dead shrubs in our flowerbed earlier this afternoon...now I see why all the yard guys wear long sleeves...my forearms look like I got in a fight with a cat. Weed eated and mowed my yard late yesterday evening.

Got my guy who prunes my crape myrtles and trims my shrubs/cleans out flowerbed coming by tomorrow...only time I pay someone concerning my yard. Yard should be primed for another season.

There was a kid at our crawfish boil who wouldn't listen and kept trying to touch the hot pot. Parents saying no. Be careful. Gave her a: Hey! Get away from that, now. She stopped and went and played on the other aode while childish adults hit me with the evil eye and the good women gave me the admiring look.

Later, same kid was balancing on top of something destined to fall a few feet onto concrete. Her parents were giving her the count down bullshite and the type to freak out if she did fall.

I hit her with a: Hey! Sit. Down.

She did.

Same parents got pissy and left. Her grandmother thanked me for looking out for her.

Definitely scored brownie points with the wife, and a few jealousy points as well since every single woman there had ovaries practically glowing
