Albert Lea, Minnesota to Birmingham or, B'ham to Miami.
Both were too long in a car.

I drive 13 hours from BR to NC once a year, and it’s always about 2 hours too much. I have to gut those last couple of hours out each time I do it.

We drove from south Louisiana to Aspen, Colorado many years ago. Was like 30 hours IIRC. Of course we had 4-5 of us taking shifts in a huge Suburban while others rested and slept some.

Drove from N. LA to Tampa, FL around 900 miles. Arrived, was unpacking my car and my wife called to tell me my mother had died. Loaded back up and drove 900 miles back, so I actually did 1800 miles only to stop for gas and pissing.

No Bucee's back then.

So, you drove through wildfires with a pickup truck loaded with gasoline cans?

Yes that’s exactly what I did. I literally drove thru fire.
