It’s the location of the old city dump. Was a toxic clean-up site at Valley High School In the 1970’s/1980’s.

I'm guessing was housing for servants who worked in LSU Lakes homes, Garden District and such. Lake Chuck has an area like that which should be prime property but 100 year old hood.
