Over 2 days drove from Baton Rouge to Acadia National Park (Bar Harbor, Maine). 2 days consecutive of 13 hours-ish.

Troy Al to Orange Park Fl to Canaan Valley WV. It’s 11-1200 miles.
My brother and I split the driving and were in the car for 24 hours.
His wife thought she had left her bridesmaid dress at their home in Orange Park FL. Turns out she left her dress at her parents’ house in Ft Walton Beach.

Central to Durango non stop by myself. 1300 miles.
Stopped to get a steak in Amarillo, Big Texan Steakhouse
That last stretch from Opelousas on 190 to home was tough.

There were no cops, I was motivated, I was in a 2017 Mustang GT, and I had plenty of 5 hour energy.
16 gallon tank amd an EPA estimated 15 mpg (90 plus mph would probably put you around 12 mpg) makes this a little more than unbelievable. Probably looking at 11 fuel stops and I'm not sold on a Mustang holding up to 26 hours of near triple digit driving.
I've made some really long trips, 20 years of truck and bus driving, my longest in one day was Rapid City, SD to Bossier. Did Ft Collins to Shreveport pretty often the few years I lived up there.

11 hours. It was that day I decided if somewhere is over 8 driving hours away, I’m flying.

I still have nightmares about driving from Metry to El Paso in about 16 hours. fricking Texas takes forever and it's so flat and just looks the same. Once you get there, you have mountains and such the rest of the way, so the rest of my drive to CA wasn't too bad.

Baton Rouge to Omaha last June for the CWS. About 950 miles and 16 hours with stops for fuel and such.

Spokane washington to seattle to LA, to baton rouge.
3000+ miles in a little over 40 hours.
I distinctly remember doing 125 through new mexico pounding energy drinks and handrolling my next cigarette while smoking my current one.
My ex wife drove maybe two hours of the trip while I had an adderall caffiene and nicotine soaked sleep.

This math doesn’t math. That’s averaging 90mph for 26 hours and it also doesn’t take in to account the 5-6 times you had to stop for fuel.
Averaging over 80 when you include fuel stops is a real pain in the arse
I made it from jackson michigan to outside of BR in 13ish hours. I was FLYING. Still barely averaged 85 mph

1044 miles from New Orleans to close to Williamsburg, VA when I was at LSU in a '78 Firebird. I was in my early 20s. Not smart. Several times I was hypnotized on the road. Again, not a smart thing to do. Later, I was driving up near Tyler, TX, and I pulled over in a closed gas station out in the country. All I remember is throwing the seat back, and the next thing I knew it was several hours later and the Sun was shining in my face. It's miserable driving tired. Don't try to break records. Get a hotel and rest.

825 miles last Thanksgiving. Shreveport to Bristol, VA on the way to Philadelphia.
It might have been driving back from Port St. Joe, FL. We stopped at Billy’s in Krotz, and I left my phone in the shitter- I set it on the grab bar to pull my shorts up and fix my belt. Didn’t realize it until we were north of Alexandria, and we turned around to drive back and get it. That may have been longer than 825 miles. The real bitch of it is that I got pulled over about 15 miles down the road, and told the trooper that my insurance card was on my phone. instead of him making me show it, he said he could see if I had current insurance on his computer, so I never looked for my phone until

Hit one 336 yards on #1 @ Baytree National, Melbourne, FL, and put one in a green side bunker on a 360 yd par 4 at the Golf Club at Cypress Head, Port Orange, FL circa 1994. Had some wind behind me on the latter.

Once drove from just outside Philly (Phoenixville) to Mobile on my way back home to the Houston area. 16 hrs and about 1,111 miles. Added to that was my truck acting up along the way and it made for a miserable drive.
Also once drove from Texas City, TX to Story City, IA, on our way to Minneapolis-St. Paul. That was a little over 1,000 miles and about 15 hours.
Both were when I was a lot younger and can't imagine doing that at my current age.
Made the round trip drive from El Paso to Texas City (about 1,600 miles total) and back a couple of times while attending UTEP with only a few hours break in between. Again, much younger and dumber back then.
