-Opening the mailbox for fear of a snake because when I was little I watched a 20/20 type show where a neighbor was harassing another neighbor and one time they put a rattlesnake in their mailbox.

Not really afraid of them, but I freaking hate wind chimes. My hell would be just a bunch of wind chimes and a stiff breeze blowing

I think I saw this in a movie once. To this day I open the mailbox with caution.

I used to have a phobia of things hitting me in the nose. As in I would lay down at night, close my eyes, and picture a baseball flying at my face, or a skateboard rolling into my face after falling off of it on a half- pipe (I dont even skate), and it would cause my nose to actually sting/tickle from the nerves in my nose bracing for impact. (Similiar to if you imagine eating something sour, it can make your tounge sting) These thoughts would come on their own and there was seemingly nothing I could do about it other than take sleeping medicine.
It was bad enough that I would pull pillows over my face just to give me a sense of protection from the strange thoughts. Thank god that shite went away
