I enjoy waking up early on Saturday and Sunday mornings feeling fine, and thinking about all the people who feel like absolute dogshit.

Now that I'm older I can go out and just get drunk enough to where I have no business driving...but still remember EVERYTHING and I'm feeling like death the next day.

Happened last weekend. Had maybe 4 drinks all night and was feeling miserable the next day. Could only imagine how long the recovery would be if I actually blacked out.

Even when I drank a lot in my college days...I never blacked out. Room would spin and I would go lay down and just fall asleep.

Public intoxication. Vagrancy. Outdoor urination. Jaywalking. Being filmed making out with the Ronald McDonald statue at McDonaldland. It's a rich tapestry.

The hangovers are starting to be so bad, that it's hindering me. Went to RDR and drank friday but didnt black out, drank saturday and was off and on autopilot from about 10 to midnight. Had a hangover until thursday.

I know some people with ocd and when they blackout they really think they did something bad when they didn't in reality.

Another reason why I never liked getting SUPER DRUNK.

I like being in control and that feeling the next day of not remembering what happened makes me feel like shite. I've pissed off friends before and had no idea what I said to them. No memory of it. Just a horrible feeling.

Yeah, I understand that. I know sometimes you think you said something bad or wrong, but the next day your friends are saying that you didn't and everything was fine. OCD is a liar.

It only gets worse as you get older.

Last time I got WASTED DRUNK was my bachelorette party(Sept 2012. Because people kept handing me drink after drink and I didn't want to be rude and refuse them. I also let go of my "NO SHOTS AT ALL" rule and that was my downfall.

What sucked was the next day I had to go to work that night. And I had to take care of kids that were puking all night. It was a rough night. I'm cleaning up kid puke feeling like I'm gonna start puking myself.

Last weekend we went out with my cousin and husband. Husband was going riding in the am so he didn't drink much. I asked him the next day if I drank too much. His reply "You were dancing...at the bar...all night long. Yeah you had a lil too much I would say"

Nah. I don't remember all of it. But I remember my friend's bf picking us up and dropping me off at the house. I remember stumbling around the house trying to not wake up my fiancé(he said I sounded like a drunk rhino charging around the house). Apparently I tried to seduce him and then fell asleep(which I do vaguely remember).

Ok so your autopilot was on/off/on/off. I prefer that to total blackout, it's like My brain checks in to make sure I'm ok then checks out for a bit.
