I do most of my blackouts when I am not driving at all. Most of my friends are good DD's and Uber has been very helpful with my blackouts.

Nevermind that whole burden of proof thingy.

Same.
I foresee many Ubers in the future.

I respectfully disagree. You sound like an old bitter person.

I don't think any reasonable conception of "normal" applies to the question. It's just something that people do or don't do for a variety of reasons and in various circumstances.
The most you can do is try to break things down situationally. Maybe it is statistically more likely that someone in their 20s will drink to the point of blacking out than it is for people in their 50s. But even if you drill down and determine it is more likely for early 20s /college aged students to do so, and even more likely for those in fraternities to do so, it doesn't mean someone in a fraternity who doesn't drink to the point of blacking out isn't normal, even if they're way more likely to do so than another demographic.

I love a good night of fun but have no patience for a blackout drunk these days.

Not everyone blacks out. Something to do with the hypothalamus.
I myself just get really tired and go to bed. Sometimes if I mix substances the room starts spinning. I have never personally blacked out from alcohol.

Sorry I just looked it up. It is the hippocampus, not the hypothalamus.
I honestly couldn't tell you the difference. I just know that there is part of the brain that determines whether you blackout or not.

Okay, that's an extreme hypothetical, but I do know people who went out one night, blacked out and woke up in jail. Happens all the time.

Yeah but not for murder

Solid number. 12 sounds good...one night per month.
