Anyone who has been blackout more than twice in their life is an alcoholic

You are joking right?? I have been in blackouts for as long as 5 hours. You are walking, talking, dancing, taking pics just as though you aren't blacked out. You don't know you blacked out until the next day when your friends tell you about something you did or said, or you look at pics on your phone or receipts from bars. Then you realize the last thing you remember was around 10pm and the last drink receipt you have is for 3am....that's a blackout.

How does this even happen?

Like I said, I've partied hard often enough, but I do not understand the concept of being functional, awake, and out doing stuff for hours, yet doing so while "blacked out" and unable to remember anything? Does not make any sense to me how it is even possible..

I cannot say I never went blackout drunk during college but zero would be my answer for anyone with a full time job out of college, especially over 30

I black out relatively easy, almost on a weekly basis in college, and as recent as 2 weeks ago for a friend's bachelor party.

I don't, it's not a good time if I black out.

There's absolutely zero need for this asinine assertion. You don't know who I am.
