Planned blackouts are the worst. When you're drinking hard with a purpose you're guaranteed to wake up with one less friend. A good night that just keeps going is usually the only blackouts that people aren't mad at each other the next day.

You don't watch it, you'll black out and wake up in jail one morning. And if some kind of incident occurs, you'll have to take others' word for whatever you did or didn't do.

In other words, when you willingly wipe your memory of an entire night, you will be at the mercy of others. shite, they could pin a murder on you and you'd have no defense.

The only thing I hate about getting blacked out drunk is not remembering how I got home. Then walking out the door and seeing your car in the driveway wondering how it got there

Yeah, the hangovers (physical and moral) get worse and worse every year to the point where it almost isn't worth it to get completely shite-housed. I'd say since college (3 years ago) I've averaged probably 7-8 times a year. College was at least once a week.
