Is there an attic? You can drill holes in the seal plate above each wall and scope it from there.

paper has an R-value of 3.5/inch thickness. A bill is 6.14in x 2.61in. Depending on how the bills are stacked it could have an R-value upwards of 22. Since bills are actually a paper cloth, I suspect it would actually be higher.
