I had an older cousin that had one in college. I remember as a kid going to his apartment in Tallahassee before a game with my parents. I thought it was so cool he had a water bed.

Do they still sell them?

Any body here have one currently or in the past?

What was your experience?

You slept on your college aged cousin’s water bed?

I had a full motion queen for the first 3 years of college. It was super comfortable and stayed cool in the summer / warm in the winter. I didn't get laid at my place too much, though.

Had one through high school. Pretty overrated for sex or being wasted drunk in

I’d rather frick while standing up or on the floor than on a waterbed.

Sex is fun on them. Maintaining it looks like it sucks

Way too much trouble than they're worth. Leaks, heater going out, a bitch to move, difficult to get in and out of, wave action annoying as hell, etc.

Funny enough, I can't remember if they were actually comfortable. I could sleep on pavement as a kid, though, and wake up limber.

Had one for years in the 80's and into the 90s. The worst sex I ever had on a water bed...was still pretty good.

Wish I still had one I slept well on them. Maintenance wasn't bad just add chemicals occasionally and keep the air bubbles out of them.

Had one from 13 years old to 19. I started having lower back problems when I was 16, persisting until my mid-30s. I always wonder if that waterbed was the problem. It had baffles but it was still pretty mushy.
