That was basically my family growing up. To be honest I don't know how my parents did it. They didn't make much.
I feel like for us to live in the same size house with 3 kids today me and my wife would have to make 5x what ny parents did.

People spend way more money now. Lavish trips, expensive cars, travel sports, every kid has a mobile device, etc etc. Combine that with the cost of Louisiana insurance and you have your answer.

There basically is no lower middle class? Fiance and I combined make about 250k a year, I have zero idea how people are rolling with 60k combined and making it work.
