I opened this thread thinking Whataburger and Rosetta was having a Twitter war. I have never heard of these rappers.

I blame this entire thread on the Brady Bill.

I've heard of Drake, but honestly thought he was an actor. I couldn't pick him out of a line-up or tell you a single song of his.

I have never in my life heard the words "meek mill". You might as well have said farngarns or some other gibberish. I honestly thought it was an inanimate object of some sort when I read it in the OP.

Why is it a diss to have others write your songs? There is an entire industry of professional songwriters.

And I still don't understand how Whataburger or Rosetta Stone are involved.

This is so far beyond my culture or interests that it might as well have been about 13th century Aztec warriors fighting over the better human sacrifice.

, about 3 days ago Drake dropped another song called back2back, the song broke the internet and led to countless memes

It did not break the Internet. I've been on it. Not a single FB friend posted anything about this. Nor did I see anything in my Twitter feed. I am a 31 year old white guy. My circle of friends - educated, middle to upper class - has no idea this occurred.

Whataburger and Norm Kelley have absolutely fantastic social media teams. Those guys kill it quite often.

I absolutely do not understand how some of you people are so insulated from modern culture in general that you don't know who a gigantic international musician-celebrity like Drake is. I cannot wrap my head around it at all. Then again, I'm 22 and I hear his shite and see his name pretty much every day but I feel like you'd have to be deliberately avoiding any kind of news at all in order to not even have an inkling as to who he is. Yall amaze me.

This is another reason for me to stay away from twitter.
Where's the point in all this? There is none.

I think farngarns is the elderly white Jewish gentleman who writes raps for Drake.

Drake says something about Twitter fingers in one of the songs. I think it was your trigger finger turned into Twitter fingers. That's what the first whataburger tweet is about.

The point is that they are cleverly using Twitter as a promotional tool as these references are giving them a ton of followers and retweets.
