-Form a coalition with my neighbors to determine scheduling, responsibilities, and watch positions.
-Establish the "high points" of the street for the purpose of several of those watch positions. Establish which end of the street is an entrance and which is an exit.
-Immediately begin simple cleaning of all available firearms and stockpile all available ammunition and gasoline our coalition has.
-Line the entrances to my street with large and heavy sawed-off tree branches with aluminum cans taped to the bottom as a makeshift alarm. Rig some motion-detected lighting at the ends of the street.
-Sit and wait.
