I'd take either and call it a pretty successful life. Seems like picking nits at that stage. Not many doctors from Stanford or lawyers from Harvard are complete failures.

Between those two, Harvard of course.

The point is that Stanford doesn’t have the same mystique and history that places like Harvard or MIT does.

Which is more germane to the question which WASNT which is the best university.

Putting it another way, in general, having Harvard on your resume will make your hiring manager’s eyes pop more than Stanford. That doesn’t mean they aren’t on par with each other.

It’s just a cultural influence.

It doesn't matter. Anyone getting to that point is just overthinking.

Yep. The only exception would be if you are capable of getting into both Stanford and Harvard Law AND graduating at the top of your class AND have ambitions to be a Supreme Court justice one day, then choosing Harvard may be the wiser choice since they seem to have a better pipeline for federal judgeships.

I thought Cornell was the creme de la creme of the Ivy League schools. Andy from the office has taught me that.

There ain't nothing prestigious about a law degree from anywhere. Lowest form of life on the planet.

Law from Harvard is definitely more pretentious. Those f&%kers run the whole damn government just about.

Prestigious?

A basket weaving diploma from Harvard wins by default.

and those are the assholes along with their Ivy League brethren who have built the abortion of a government we have

Basically you get into the Ivy League with your high school resume, then once in it is nigh impossible to flunk out, so our leaders are selected based on what they did in high school

That’s an MBA with a concentration in finance. As opposed to a masters in finance that a place like London Business offers. The curriculums and durations of MBAs vs MFins are different. Nuance is important.

Which is, for all intents and purposes, the US equivalent.
