I would do everything in my power to talk my daughter in to getting an abortion

Of all the shite I have seen written on this board, this actually might be the worst.

I cannot even comprehend how someone would try to push their own 15 yr old daughter in this direction.

I'd rejoice at young love and a new beautiful life being brought into the world.

So you don't think he's a loser for running away from the situation?

Well, that baby is going to mess up his plans for her to go to college and begin supporting herself. And babies are expensive.

New trucks and boats don't pay for themselves, you know.

Well if I tried to push other people's 15 yr old daughters in this direction it would be kind of trashy.

I mean what kind of person would that make me? Trying to shove my morality on to other peoples kids.......

same can be said about posters like you and him thinking you're better than someone who believes in personal decision.

Being pro-abortion is one thing. Being pro-abortion for someone else is totally different.

but your daughter refuses to get it aborted, as she wants to raise the child "on her own".

I'd get mad, blow my top, feel hurt, and then prepare myself to raise another child literally and figuratively supporting my daughter and baby all the way.

Because if you have and raise the kid, your life for all intents and purposes is over.

This situation actually hits close to home.
Had almost the same thing happen.

Don't believe in abortion unless in extreme cases so that wasn't an option even though I left it up to my daughter.
After screaming and cussing, hugged my daughter and told her we would get through it.
Had the boy come over and told him this was a 1 time shot. Either be a part of the kids life or leave and don't come back. Haven't seen him since which was the best for everyone.
Told my daughter if for whatever reason she didn't want the kid, I would take it and raise it. That didn't happen and she's done a wonderful job. Still you have to remember your dealing with an awfully young person so mistakes will happen.

End of the day, my Grandson is 6 yrs old and don't know what I'd do without him. Take him with me every chance I get.

It was tough at times, but I wouldn't change anything.

Good Luck and hope it works out for y'all.

Pregnant at 15, mother at 16, baby is out of diapers by 2. Well at least the baby will be toilet trained before she leaves it with you to start work at "her night job" when she turns 18.
