My 10 year old daughter had a friend at school that was trying to get her into being a furry. Tried to talk to the parents of my daughters friend to see if they where aware of this...they totally support it. Had to sit my daughter down and explain that furries are extremely predatory towards younger children, and there was absolutely no way I was going to allow her to get sucked into that vacuum of losers. Don't care what your friend's shitty parents allow her to do...but you're not their kid. Unfortunately she has migrated to Japanese anime. It's just a phase...it's just a phase.

Japanese anime is a big, big upgrade from being a furry. I mean Dragonball Z is anime, so I’d say more kids than not watch Japanese anime especially when you put Studio Ghibli in the equation, which I’d recommend their works strongly to every parent as much as I would Disney/Pixar. I own 11 anime films with all being Studio Ghibli with the exceptions being Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Your Name.
