Looked like a coyote was stalking the cougar. It appeared towards the end of the video from the right of the screen. That was the weirdest part - I would’ve figured a coyote wouldn’t want to be in the same zip code of a cat that large.

Apparently a pack of coyotes were tracking it. I wonder if it got away

Probably hoping to get some scrapes from the kill. Little kids or big dogs are pretty filling.

After the 2016 flood I was home by myself.
My wife was not home, as she went to my sons house.
A looked out my back full glass storm door.
I saw a huge fish bowl full of wine to the top about 10 seconds before the cougar showed up.
Then a cougar showed up in a leopard mensch see through robe, which was not a good peep show.
The cougar asked me to get a dead pussy cat out of her yard that her dog killed.
So I did.
Then the cougar passed out on my lawn chair.
My wife was not home, as she went to my sons house.

10 years of daily trail running in the Rockies and I never saw one. But I was aware they probably saw me all the time.
