Child throwing fit in store

Me personally, I wouldn't have bought the damn shoes and informed the little shite that she was a)getting an arse whipping when she gets home. And b)actually carrying out with the arse whipping.

Then I'd have probably gone to jail for abuse.

Looks like the reaction to Bobby's work requirement rule.

Honestly thought that would be white parents. But they need beatings. Many many beatings.

Leave the store and discipline child in the privacy of my own home (or car if immediate discipline is necessary.)

Before disciplining, I would try to figure out if my child could have possibly been hungry or tired or just plain bored. I don't think it's fair to expect kids to behave like little angels when their needs are not properly met. Even if the child wasn't hungry or tired, sometimes hours of running errands is just too damn much to ask of a toddler.

I would have left everything, grabbed my kid, and headed out the door. Then I would have dealt with it in private.

My wife and I raised two well adjusted sons (both in college). You establish boundaries and teach them how to live within them (sound familiar?). My go to technique in a public setting (happened only a few times but it did happen) was to turn to the offending son and say "Do we need to go to the bathroom?"

They knew what would happen when we went to the restroom in the store (not having a confrontation in public - yeah, no). Always (ALWAYS) calmed them down. And then we would discuss what they wanted (and some time I actually let them have it - if reasonable - to reinforce positive behavior).

But you have to have the same standard at home and in public (which does not seem to be the case here).

This video has brought me to a lot of other goodies.

Check out this girl throwing a temper trantrum on her birthday. Lots of good looking broads.

The answer is raise the kid properly from birth so he doesn't act like an a-hole in public.
