Drink brands such as Yahweh and Praise Energy say they’re raising awareness for Christianity – but are they just treating Jesus like an uncopyrighted Mickey Mouse?

Jesus, it turns out, has a branding problem – at least according to the makers of these drinks. Too many people simply haven’t heard the message. “God put it on our hearts to specifically preach the gospel through an energy drink,” the creator of Yahweh says in an Instagram video defending the company against accusations that it exists mainly to turn a profit.

Each case of Agape comes with a single sleeve cardboard gift box designed to be used directly for evangelism. Whether that’s evangelism for Christ or evangelism for Agape, you get to decide. Agape costs $40 for a 20-pack, so one can is roughly $3.30 for a 12oz energy drink.

the blood of Christ is the only energy drink I need

Any Christian would understand this was a bad idea.

I feel like they are missing an opportunity for a Resurrection Raspberry flavor. Who doesn't want that type of energy.
Edit: This is a very strange "he beat me to it" moment. Very strange.

The same thing I drink. Good red wine.

Well, Catholicism teaches that the Eucharist is the literal body and blood of Jesus. How is this any worse?

Can't wait for the Yahweh JACKED version with 12% alcohol, all natural ingredients.

Could you imagine mixing this with a psychedelic and seeing God while tripping on toned down amphetamines?
And to answer question in the OP? Yes I’d drink it if it tastes good.

Uhm, I'm no math major, but something is off here

That is just a damn shame. Who would reduce our Lord and Savior to a face on an aluminum can? Disgusting, sacrilegious, and contemptible. I can’t believe anyone who calls himself a Christian could be associated with something like this.

Are you seriously asking how the transfiguration that is core to the beliefs of Catholics world wide is different than selling Christ based energy drinks?

What are the chances that the founders of this are of an older, smaller, Abrahamic religion?
