If I was lucky enough to escape, no amount could get me back here. Living and working in South Louisiana is an eventual cancerous clock ticking.

It wouldn't take too much. I love LA. But that's just me.

If someone really wanted the LA ex-pats to return, then here's some ideas:
a) Amend the state constitution
b) Stop with the democratic governors. A B-grade Republican is >>> than a Democrat.
c) Clean up the roadside litter. LA is the Himalayas of swamps. They're beautiful. When you see them everyday you don't realize that but they're special.

I could go on. Love LA.

We are all calling bullshite on your estimated drive times, especially PHX to DEN in 8 hours. This gross oversight completely invalidates the rest of your attempted weak arse troll.

I wouldn't even consider moving back to Louisiana. You don't realize just how screwed up Louisiana is until you move out of it.

the crazy thing is, I can take a plane trip in a shorter amount of time.

Hopefully nothing. We don’t want them back.

Now what would it take to get you to LEAVE the Louisiana message board for good is the real question.

It would take A LOT of money or a family illness that required me to take care of a parent.

At this point I don't expect to move back unless it's part of a seasonal retirement plan once my kid is graduated and moved out.

I've lived and worked in other states and two foreign countries. Worked in Boston.A very expensive place where I had to wear a jacket in July. West Germany, it was ok. South Korea, not going back. Work at Los Alamos, had ice on the inside of the window pane but beautiful during the summers. Worked in DC, food was like eating plain cardboard. El Paso, every thing,I mean everything is brown.

This is my favorite thing on TD- Someone using distances to other places as a brag on where they live.
That means it sucks.

Would need at least $350k. But that would be more than what all of Abbeville makes except for the oilfield baws I'm sure.

I don't gamble so I'm I'd at least still have the money.

Tougher on violent crime...
No income tax...
Veterans benefits on par with Alabama, Florida or SC...

Idk,..it's a great place to visit, but Louisiana attracts a bunch of shitbags...maybe tell all the shitbags to leave
