It would be covered with dinosaur poop containing human bones.

OP has a good thought that isn’t understood enough. As rare as life is, complex life is probably drastically more rare. And of complex life, “intelligent” life is probably much rarer still.

In other words, it’s probably the case that 99.9% of planets with “complex life” consist of just a bunch of animals running around.

If that meteor never hit then dinosaurs would still roam the earth and we wouldn’t be here.

You mean it wouldn't be like Jurassic park Fallen World where we trained the dinosaurs with finger clickers?

Whatever caused the heavy vegetation to die off and be replaced by grasses in the Eocene- would have lead to lots of dinosaur death because massive forrests feed a lot more dinos that grasslands.

Then came glaciation. Either the remaining critters would have become even larger (read about the fauna in the southern tip of South America) or evolved to be different birds or would have become omnivores with dependence of estivation or hibernation.

Insert a lot more variables, get a lot of wierder looking animals. (Bison, sloths, musk oxen, etc.)

Hard to say but I wonder if when they wrote the Bible they would have made Jesus a velociraptor?
