What would be worse: Raptors or giant eagles roaming the earth?

Just going on a hike and a raptor ambushes you
Or
A giant eagle like lord of the rings grabs you and eats you

Yeah but you could stay inside and keep away from eagles
As Jurassic Park proves, raptors can break into your house

I think giant eagles would be worse because I would move from my rural locale to a metropolis and raptors could not find a safe haven.
big birds can come down off a building and snatch you up at their convenience.

You do know that raptors are pack hunters, right? I'd rather get swooped away by a giant eagle than methodically hunted by a pack of intelligent predators.

Definitely eagle. I mean shite you pulling your old lady by her hair you see the raptor you throw her to it that eagle you wouldn't even see it til it was to late.

Eagles would be worse.
I think we could just build really big walls and keep out raptors pretty easily. The only way to keep away eagles would be to stay inside all the time, that would suck.
Plus I think it'd be easier to hunt the raptors.

Raptors eat their prey while they're alive.

Raptors. They can smell and detect people.

I just love that in a conversation this ridiculous, people are still going to state that one or the other is the answer and "it's not even close."

giant eagles.
They could get you on the ground and have an air advantage, they are smart and have amazing eyesight.
If jp raptors could fly, they would be giant eagles.

Are we talking about giant 'merica eagles? If so, may God have mercy on our souls.

Eagles. With Raptors at least you could be safe on a boat so fishing would still be a viable hobby. With Eagles you aren't safe anywhere except indoors.

With the advent of radar, fighter aircraft and sophisticated anti-aircraft weapons the eagles would be doomed. Raptors could possibly hold out in ungovernable areas and create pockets of insurgent resistance.

i think the answer depends heavily on your locale. which predator would society at large be able to mobilize against the quickest? seems like a huge wall would take so long to build that the raptors would have eaten everyone before its completion. I'll go with the flappy bird I guess

Raptors were the size of chickens in real life.
So giant Eagles.
So giant Eagles.
