I worked in the sporting goods dept at Kmart when I was in college. It was actually a lot of fun. I really enjoyed drilling the holes in bowling balls.

Either working at a pawn shop in college or sheriff’s deputy. Dealt with some very interesting people, learned a lot about the world. Handling guns everyday was a nice plus as well.

“Deck Attendant” at a small little water slide park for one summer.
Basically told people when to go down the water slide. A couple nights a week we’d stay after close, drink, and goof around in the water with all the hot lifeguards. Glorious summer.

growing up in Lake Charles, LA, after high school most work in the plant either in college or not.
I worked various construction gigs at the plant but it wasn't my style cause I am fat and could not exactly do everything they needed of me.
But, while I was in college, I got on with a scaffolding company at Westlake Chemical. I worked with a lot a good old baws who knew how to swing a hammer but not much else. They gave everyone a test of who would be the fork lift driver to bring material from the yard to the plant for construction of a scaffolding job.
I was the only one who passed this basic test. So I got to drive around back in forth in the forklift bringing big baskets of materials to different parts of the plant. They had a couple of hands in the lay down yard who would load up whatever I knew was needed in order to build the scaffold. I had music playing and my sleeves rolled up with a baseball cap on driving around the plant all day and then got to bull shite with a bunch of guys from different backgrounds who were not in college but had good work ethic.
Most fun I ever had.
edit: I forgot to mention I made $13/hr. but also worked a lot of 16 hr days, so for a college student it was not bad.

I was a server and bartender, by far the funnest job I've ever had. Hooked up with soooo many hot chicks (and a few fatties) along the way.

After I grew up a bit I realized my time in the Navy was by far the most fun. Had a kick arse job and got to do it in absolutely crazy places and situations.

I started working in kitchens when I was 17. Started out washing dishes and ended working on the line. shite pay and hard work but a ton of fun at that age. The first place was a cajun restaurant and the chef/owner didn't GAF. He had the servers bring us free beers all night and when we closed we all moved out to the bar and drank for free until two or three in the morning. He went out of business in a couple of years.
Best part of that job is the cooking world is pretty insular so I got to know most of the other cooks, servers, and bartenders in town so at 18 I could drink at most bars, no ID needed.
Had to get out though, the restaurant lifestyle was too hardcore for me.

Bonus: I have a lifetime supply of shirts. Concerts, sports, schools, restaurants, etc...etc...
Did this too for a while. Hated that job. I would see that damned press spinning around in my dreams.

In college I worked at Brew Bachers on Nicholson. At the time you were allowed free food and alcohol whenever you wanted as an employee. That's a lot for a college kid especially when working with people you befriended. Lots of nights we would skip the bars and drink there for free until 2 am. A few times I remember people just spending the night until Sunday morning shift.
