Lot of truth here.

Leftover 4H camp meals as a perk. Woofrickinghoo!

Thick ham sandwich and half-frozen orange juice. It was damn good in July and August.

Also worked at the state capitol. All the parties were fun. The Beer Industry League party was the best. For me it was when 18 was legal drinking age. All the college students would leave the parties and go out then stagger back in at 830 the next day to do it all again.

Current role. I have my own business and get to do whatever the F I want.

In all seriousness the ability to control your own destiny is an amazing feeling.

This is what we used our combat lifesaver bags for in Korea.

What was the job that was fun to work at? The amount you were getting paid, it could have been minimum wage, but it was simply fun.

Working at the Movieland Video rental store during high school was great. I’d come in right after school, take an hour nap on the couch in the back, then start my shift when I woke up.

I remember when DVDs were first invented and rented! It was also cool having first access to the new movies as well as very old ones. Not very cool calling people about unpaid late fees though. That seems ridiculous now that movies are accessible without need to “return” them. When I quit the movie store to work at a pharmacy in 2000, most people were still renting VHS.

I had several jobs in high school- I loved working for the first Carters Grocery and was there when they replaced the old store. The Carters are damn good people. Also worked at a little snowball stand in Walker in between these jobs, and had all the free snowballs I wanted.

Fortunately, my current job is the most fun.
