Did not have time per se. I would check in around 12:00a and would be home soon or say I'm crashing at a friends.

Teenagers sneaking out of windows was a foreign concept to me because I just walked out the front door with the parents in the living room.
This. And I would walk back in the front door just in time for my mom to make me breakfast before I passed out

My car had to be in the driveway by midnight but I didn't have a curfew. This went on until the summer before my senior year, then neither my car nor myself had a curfew.
Come to think of it, my parents were more concerned about my car than me.

Didn't really have one. They said 10:00 on weekdays and 1:00 on weekends, but so long as I called them and told them "where I was" (often bold faced lies mind you) they didn't care. Often I'd just say I was staying with a firm end and they didn't care.
My sister was a totally different story.

Didn't need a curfew. I was a jock/nerd. If I wasn't at practice I was studying. I didn't go crazy until college.

Dad worked off shore, so as long as I could slip back thru my bedroom window before mom woke in the morning that was my curfew time.
One night came walking in about 3am, dad was up. I walk in and lean against doorway. He asked been drinking? Nope
Asked me again, been drinking? Nope
What is the vomit down the front of your shirt? Said hurry up and get undress so we can wash your clothes before your mom wakes up and then go to bed.
Somehow I made it thru high school and twelve years of additional education.

This.
Parents never really cared but the Mandeville PD sure as hell did.
