Bicycle Builder.

Local bicycle shop, putting together bikes, Junior year in high school.

frickers wanted to dress me up as Santa and put me out on a stationary bike in the parking lot for Christmas Season. Told them to go shove it up their arse for the $4.50 they were paying me under the table.

I played coach's pitch for one year, and it was a little weird. Then I played in a 10-yr old softball league, and I was very glad I did, since at that age pitching can be pretty horrible for baseball, and with softball you get to concentrate more on the basics of defense and have more fun.

Hardware Store.

Every red blooded american male, should have to work at a hardware store. The stuff I learned in those 2 or 3 years, I still use 20 years later.

cut grass like most boys raised in the 70s, 80s, and maybe 90s. With all the lawn care businesses these days I don't think kids have that option like they used to.

First pay check was from the Grand Opening of Ryan's Steakhouse in Houma in 1992

This thread makes me have regrets about my summer choices as a teen. I used to play 3 sports year round, and then it went to 2 sports (and baseball 10 months out the year), and then in college I would always go crazy with gym workouts and load up on summer courses because I was a weirdo and had 2 majors and 5 minors. Looking back, I probably could have done better things with my summers and gotten some broader experiences.

Hot Tub Warehouse. We'd ride around Northern Virginia in a big van, drinking beer and smoking weed. Every now and then, we'd stop and deliver a hot tub.
