Cut grass through high school then got a job as a umpire for t-ball and coaches pitch at the YMCA, which was awesome.

Worked at a lumber yard 6th - 12th grade summers. Still wish I was working there today.

Cutting grass in high school.

First job where I had to report income was at Clegg's Nursery on Siegen during my first year in college.

Worked at my grandfather's construction company from 7th grade till I was 18 over summers. Then I worked at lauberge in between senior year and college.

First real paycheck taxed job was a farm hand. Did it for 7 years and loved every second of it. If I could have made a good living doing it I would have never went to college.

I was a forester's assistant. Got to measure and paint trees, set stuff on fire, and blow up beaver dams with dynamite. It was pretty sweet.

After cutting grass, it was landscaping. I still enjoy landscaping around the house but the allergies couldn't handle more than 2 summers doing it on a regular basis.

Yeah that's how they transition the 8 year olds from t-ball to live pitching. I thought it was pretty common.
