That WIBR haunted house on Florida Blvd was a favorite back in 1980. Had some fun time bc they used to let us kids volunteer inside to scare folks.

7 years old and it was pouring buckets. Went around the hood with large black trash bags as the neighbors dumped the entirety of their candy buckets into our bags.

My dream is to get trashed in a spooky haunted house like the movies. Have blood punch and eyeballs floating in slime dessert.
See vampire and suits of armor. Party with dark and goth chicks from a blade film.

As much as I loved all the Halloweens getting a pillowcase full of candy as kid, TP-ing friends houses in middle school, and chicks in lingerie and cat ears in college, my favorite Halloween was when I was in mid 20s at a 4-story rave party at the Metro in Chicago.
It wasn't my usual scene, but I had a blast surrounded by loud music, light shows, fire and burlesque dancers, while rolling on molly and dancing my arse off as a LEGO minifig.

All of them. Never had a bad Halloween.
You don’t have to worry about that now.

Agree with the above, most if not all Halloweens have been great, but I am a Halloween baby... so, it is in my DNA.
Grew up on a farm, 15 miles from town. We'd go to my grandparents' house in town to start the night, and my parents would drive us to houses "we knew." We didn't really walk around, even though it was a tiny town. One of my friends' grandmothers always had this AMAZING display, and she dressed as a witch. It was so impactful, they included this in her obituary. Knowing she pretty much had to make all that stuff since it was the 1980s makes it even cooler.
College... I honestly don't even recall. I know there were football games, booze and parties. Must have been amazing.
Early professional life. GREAT parties, scary movies, but no trick or treaters really, living in condos and apartments in the city. I always had candy ready, though.
Married without children. GREAT parties, haunted hayrides, haunted houses, universal halloween, etc. Firepit with friends...
Married with Children part 1 - taking them trick or treating, and to all the other events like trunk or treats and shopping center trick or treating was just so much fun. Boo at the Zoo, Disney, SeaWorld, LegoLand... all that... maybe that is my favorite??
Married with Children part 2 - my kids still love to trick or treat, but they'd rather stay at home with me and scare other kids, lol. We just don't get many here in the country-burbs, so we just leave candy on the porch and hit our hood and the one behind us. The fun part is we actually do this as a group of kids now, and we walk the other neighborhood and load up in trucks here since the houses are too far apart. Neighbors have fire pits and beer in the driveways, and we end the night at our place with an outdoor movie, fire, and beer... (kids get hot cocoa).
My oldest is old enough now that I can take him to haunted houses with me, which is pretty cool. Started him off with Netherworld, next year I'll take him to HHN.
Halloween nerd. I love it all.

2002, spent the night with a girl from HS, I had been chasing for about 5 years. She was dressed as a sluty angel or some shite, I was dressed as a mormon.
