too late i think
I was able to do it retroactively. Came up with some bullshite story and had some doctor friends and such write some notes. They're pretty strict about retroactives.

ut quit acting like all you have to do is "crack a book". It doesn't work that way.
There are many classes where you only have a few tests that are weighted heavily. if you frick up on one of them, youre screwed..

Nice way of bragging
Everyone else thinks they are bragging by acting like its cool to fail school...
I promised my late father I wouldn't skip classes and school was pretty easy if you didnt. I never got a C in school.
edit: and I just realized the OP changed the thread title... My freshman roomate got a 1.2 his freshman year.

I dont know how you could make below a 1.5 you'd have to put in zero effort, not even study the night before.

If you at least go to every class there is no reason you should ever get below a B in any given class at LSU. The school simply isn't that difficult.
And if it isn't hard you may not belong in college

First semester I got a 2.5. Lost TOPS stipend. Finished with a 3.3 I guarantee I skipped more class than I went to.

Meh. There are exceptions. Like I'm sure engineering is genuinely difficult. I'm sure hard science type classes get crazy if you don't have the aptitude. I don't know what acct was like as a major. The little I saw of it seemed like a lot of rote memorization and little analysis. Not difficult in my book, but I could be missing something. The bulk of what most people are taking are not like those, especially if you're just taking general classes without a major.
I'll forever be convinced that people routinely overestimate how much they work and ignore how much they screw around. At least in this country apathy contributes much more to failure than being faced with insurmountable odds.

No doubt whatsoever.

Yeah upper level accounting classes aren't easy. By no means are they impossible, they just aren't easy and from your original comment I just thought you were some punk trying to be cool by saying college is easy and you jerked off 10 times a day but still got over a 3.0 blah blah, but you obviously aren't that.

Guy I know got 0.8 freshman year. All he did was play pool in the union, smoke weed, and play xbox. He came to campus to look at the girls, but never went to class.
Fraternity brother of mine was working on a 0.0 halfway through our pledge semester. Needless to say, he didn't get initiated with us.
Guy from my hometown finished his first semester freshman year with a 0.8.
