re: What was the worst GPA you've ever heard of?

I got a 0.4 one semester. Failed everything but a lab.

A lot of things led to it. I was lazy and pledging, so I slept in a lot. Katrina hit and they let you drop and pick up classes like a month into the semester, because of all the Tulane transfers. I missed a few quizes, so I'd drop and pick up a different section . One class I showed up to for the first time and it was the first major exam in Calc 2 and I was stuck in that section. It was pretty pathetic. I had a class on friday's at like 4, so I pretty much gave up on that. Then to top it all off, I could have passed almost every class by acing the finals, but I never went to class and they moved some of the locations of the classes to take the final and I missed 2 of them . Ended up graduating with a 3.0 in Mechanical Engineering, but I sure found out what rock bottom was after that semester.
