CyberLink Power Media Player on my HP laptop. It had been changed by someone else (in Sully Erna voice from Godsmack: O, the enemy!), and stopped functioning properly for DVDs. A simple reinstall of the default version did the trick. As for that enemy, his luck flat ran out in cowardly F'in with me on the down low, and he had got kicked out.

Maytag dishwasher rinse-aid dispenser which was leaking at about 50x the normal usage rate. Replaced the whole detergent dispenser unit with an eBay unit for less than $20. Before that I had to replace the handle which had stopped latching, and I shocked the shite out of myself because I didn't disconnect the power first. 
That was also less than $20. Beats $400+ for a new dishwasher.

Changed out a closet light fixture where the pull string had pulled out.
