Why have I heard about a guy on acid thinking he’s an orange multiple times from different people ? The guy thinking he’s an orange on acid has been around for a long time. Also I took acid at least 100 times in my youth and never once did I see anything horrific or completely crazy, just a lot of laughing and some breathing walls every now and then.

Because people lie and have no actual good stories or life experiences....you sound like my kind of friend though.
One time though, my friend had a band shirt with a girls face on it. Half the face was melting off and the other was normal. So what did I see that whole night while tripping, everyone I encountered had the half melty face half normal face. I was asking people what was wrong with their face, and they were like nothing you’re trippin.

This was on a camping trip.3 of us.About Midnight a Cut-VW Bug comes down the trail.It's a 1 Armed guy and a Hippie.
They drank Beer and smoked our weed arourd the fire.
The Hippie went and stood about 20 yards and 10 feet below in the creek bed and put a Beer can on his head.The 1 Armed Man shot it off with a 22 Rifle.
