I know for a fact (which obviously precludes the top secret limit but whatever) that one element that the military is pushing for is to build the base technologies to allow the generation of novel, custom designed proteins that can be used as toxins tailored to an individual.


And do it all within 24 hours of recept of target genetic material.

Which if you knew anything about the process, the time limit is almost more scifi than what they are trying to do.

I'm at the tail end of gen X and I never heard of participation trophies growing up. It's def a millennial thing.

We're taking this thread totally off topic, but who do you think gave the participation trophies to the millenials? Surely the 7-8 year olds didn't drive to the store and spend their allowance on trophies for themselves.
