Ya good lord, that poor child should run from this psychotic parent.

Why exactly? In comparison to some of the Asian and Indian parents I know, this is fairly mild.

Yep
Exceptional children don't need to be created. Allow them as normal a childhood as possible and they'll break out on their own.

I've got a coworker who has his kids involved in music, baseball, soccer, football, skiing competitions, swimming meets, and they never do stuff normal kids do and have little time to be with friends. They'll resent it one day.

My 3yo can already drive a zero turn mower as well as a grown man, and he can write basic SQL queries.

Yeah heaven forbid the 2 year old is allowed to be a kid

I say that the kid should be exposed to as many humans as possible and I'm accused of not letting the kid be a kid.

How many Youtube videos and Netflix shows were you watching as a two year old?

One of our really good friends kids did this. You could have a chat with them at 18 months.

Fast forward a couple years and they are frustrated because he hasn’t advanced as much as they expected he would.

Moral of story. Some toddlers do things faster than others. But for the most part they end up in the same spot.

It seems great if you want a robokid.

Children will find their place. Here's nothing wrong with introducing kids to various things but kids learn to problem solve without things being pushed on them.

The more boring a child is, the more the parents, when showing off the child, receive adulation for being good parents — because they have a tame child-creature in their house.”

Dude, I don't think that's abnormal. My kid does the same thing, knows all his colors and shapes, even ones like rhombus, pentagon, octagon, etc and his ABCs to letter 'M'.

I think it's advanced but I don't think it's super boy genius or anything. I just work with him with flashcards. It's like training a monkey. If they have the basic faculties, can speak, see and hear, you can teach them to do anything at any age.

Don’t be one of those parents that constantly suffocate their children.

I don't blame him. The whole LMNOP thing in the song is confusing. It just is.
