My cousin is still in a medically induced coma from taking 1 hit on Sunday.

A large reason weed is a gateway drug because it is illegal. In order to get it, you have to deal with drug dealers. And because it's illegal you end up only hanging out with other people who do illegal drugs. Therefore your more likely to come into contact with other drugs and the people who buy and sell them and then try them.
Weed doesn't just automatically make you want harder drugs. Not any more than alcohol, cigarettes, Adderall, caffeine, etc.....

Yep. 100% true. Now in Colorado, I see people using heroin and meth in the streets all day long. Our state's economy is in the tank. There's barely any jobs or construction in the state. Our government is lacking funds to provide basic necessity services, like state wide paved bike paths and rec centers with rock climbing walls.
I hope that everyone in the south prays for my destitute state. We are hanging on to our humanity by a thread. Any day now, anarchy might take over. We'd try to fix things, but we're all kinda tired, and feeling a little lazy.

It should be. Any party supply should have some basic quality control. That shite is just some random grass, sprayed with some chemicals cooked up in a Chinese chemistry lab. Depending on how much was sprayed on the herbs, you could either feel nothing, or lose your fricking mind.
I'd give a properly lesson on safe cannabis use, and varieties available in the free market, but I'm not trying to get banned before football season. But it's a republican/libertarian‘s wet dream.
