everyone in junior high walked around with a skoal ring on the back pocket (did teachers just not care back then??)

my parents wouldn't let me dip so i bought this instead and walked around with it in my back pocket

Spot on. My brother made a homemade batch soaking them in some cinnamon solution he concocted. It made your eyes water and you couldn't breathe. He could have killed someone.

I wonder if we could manage to taste the old candy again as it was back then if it would be as we remember. And if it would be better than today's stuff.
