You could ask her, like I just did.
When I bought her engagement ring, I got her a 6 or 6.5. When we went to get it reduced, the guy said if I had gotten it any bigger, I would have had to have gotten a new band, as the Platinum wouldn't have been able to be adjusted any more. Whoops.
