You're onto something. Usually using the word "downvote" in a post guarantees there are at least 10 coming your way

Oh don't get me wrong, the whole "system" of up and down votes cracks me up
It's the easiest, laziest way to express yourself with zero accountability and complete anonymity
That being said, I think I upvote every LucasP post on principle because he makes me laugh harder than anyone should at an Internet forum

Two things I'd like to see about the upvote/downvote system.
A) I wish you could see upvotes and downvotes for a post in your post history.
B) They'll never let you know who is upvoting and downvoting, but I wish there was a metric on your profile that showed your upvote to downvote ratio received and your upvote to downvote ratio given.
