Pre covid, Glade air freshener was $.99 a can for a decade at Target. Last two years it’s been $2.39 for no damn reason.

This. I refuse to buy it. My adult son who travels a lot waste so much money on that shite and it drives me crazy.

Concert ticket prices.

I really enjoy live music but even bands well past their prime are so damn expensive.

I’m going to start to focus more on local acts.

Appliance stores charging $150-$190 just to come out and diagnose the problem (even if you bought the appliance through them).

The question should be what’s not ridiculously overpriced these days? Is there any such thing as a “good deal” anymore?

I don’t think so. Rarely at least. It’s more of looking for the best in a bad situation.

ATM fees when my bank’s ATM is down and I have to go to another bank’s ATM. I have started making my bank reimburse me for those fees since it happens so often.

Buying tickets on Stubhub or Seatgeak

Ticket $75, fees $40

Great way to get me to watch games on my couch instead of attending the event

Took my grandson to our country club a few days ago. We each had a burger, fries and drink, and the bill (with tip) was over $40.

Unless they own their own building, it’s not really all that great of earnings.

Cleaning Fees on VRBOs.

I priced a two bedroom beach condo for three nights on one of the big places in Orange Beach recently. The room rate was high, but normal for these days at $360 a night.
$300 cleaning fee.
$150 booking fee.
$50 HOA fee.
$3 phone line fee.
