Do they have any say so in political matters or is it all just ceremonial now?

It’s to give mainstream media something to talk about during soft news cycles.

Queen [King] still has an amazing amount of pull politically...if they so choose to use it.

Omg I have been saying this the past couple years. I dont get it, and I regularly say its just kardashians as well.

All seems kind of stupid to be honest.

Mostly diplomacy type of stuff.

But don’t discount their influence.

They have quite a bit of power, but rarely use it. Once the Monarchy was abolished, that was about it for true power.

Judging by the tolerance of the muzzie infestation and invasion of a once proud independent nation, obviously they serve no purpose, other than to oversee and capitulate to the destruction of their national identity of the aforementioned once proud nation. But who cares, pomp and circumstance, chariots and cheering crowds and Buckingham Palace and all that, eh, wat? "God Save the Queen/King" will soon be replaced by "Allah Save the Mullah" as their national anthem if they stay on their current path of self destruction.

No link. Half was an exaggeration, but they are a significant source of employment through all their grounds, palaces, and residencies that need kept, guards, housekeepers etc. Indirectly with all the land they own..
