I recently quit buying beer because I really cannot afford it. Same reason I quit smoking.
I never quit, I quit buying it.

Are you an alcoholic?
No. I think the last drink I had was last week. I don’t drink everyday and I go weeks at a time without a drink. Also, when I do drink it’s usually 1 or 2 drinks max.
I’ve never had a high tolerance for alcohol.

Serious question. I usually have at least 6 drinks per day and usually have more. Should this be something that I should be concerned about?
Ever show up for work late due to drinking? Lost a job due to being hungover? Start off the day with a shot? Grab a beer every lunch? Personal relationships fall apart due to drinking?
If not, you’re ok, but keep an eye out for these signs. You might have an issue, but look out for these signs.

So what was up with the thread about you asking if you’ve ever fricked anyone else’s life up? Just curious

I’m not talking about mornings. Have you ever woken up and had a drink before going to work?

Not with this job no. Because if I get brethalized at work and blow more than a 0.02 im in deep shite with a rule G violation and there isnt even much my union can do for me in that case.

You have to be threatened to not drink before work, so yes you are absolutely an alcoholic and need to go to AA.

You might not be an alcoholic, but something is definitely wrong
Imo, you're an alcoholic at minimum. People here seem to want to help though

Because it sounds as if you’ve never let yourself get to that point.
