Have you tracked any of his ticket or album sales?
Nope. Never heard any of his songs.
Which leads me to think he couldn’t sell a 100k tickets in a small place like BR because I would say he hasn’t crosse over into the general public on the same level as Garth

He had bout 105k in Arlington, which broke a 33 year record for largest indoor concert in North America. The record broken was The Rolling Stones in the early 1980s.
I think that concert was billed as George Strait’s last concert ever. It was the last show of his farewell tour, and he had about a dozen special guests join him onstage.
It wasn’t a normal concert, and had a lot of fanfare and additional acts involved.

What about Morgan Wallen? Maybe not 100k, but I bet he could get about 75k.
And I see people mentioning passed performers.
Yeah Prince, MJ and Whitney Houston would easily do 100k. Led Zepplin, Aerosmith.. I think someone like Phil Collins could do 100k (although he is still around, I am just thinking out loud).

So a guy who is playing The Warf in Orange Beach (capacity 10k) could play a place 10x the size?
Some performers like playing in smaller settings.
Like Chappelle. He performs in bigger venues because that's obviously where you make money, but he prefers to perform in front of a smaller crowd. According to him, its more intimate.
So you can't always judge by where they perform.

It was his last ever concert. Yes, if George strait for whatever reason had his farewell concert at tiger stadium he would sell it out, any other circumstance(such as when he played in 2024), he wouldn’t come close
Whoa...GS was playing in the future and still couldn't sell out TD?

It's a pretty low energy show.
Until the camera shows a close up of his backside on the jumbotron and all the cougars go wild.
