This, it was pretty devastating for me in HS and college/fraternity ball. Pretty much all I had.

We called it Tipout in Village St George in mid-80s

Rules applied to any shot: tipped back in rebound with 2 hands sent the shooter back to 0, tipped in with 1 hand put them out the game.

Rules could be altered to say if you had to be in the air or not when tipping shots back in.
