What makes a woman a "whore"

I've caught myself looking back on my younger years, (only about 3 years ago) and thinking how I'd never give a girl a chance if she had slept with more than "x" number of guys. Obviously this was a double standard, which still holds true.
With that being said what makes you consider a girl a whore? A certain number? reputation? Personality?

If she needs attention and sex from guys to be happy and feel good about herself.
The same applies for guys.

I agree with this. How would you classify a girl that has a lot of sex just because she enjoys sex?

If she seeks out the attention and sex from dudes to boost her self esteem then i consider this a whore. also if shes slept with over 25 guys id prob question if id prob decline to be up in that biz

They don't get good at fricking without practice.
Friend of mine (never had sex) became a stripper while in college. That's something that follows you. She's pretty damned normal now. Facebook full of pics of a kid, wine, husband, and crafts/Pinterest shite. But I'm sure it took many years for her to live the past down. And I'm sure she still sees guys at the store who stuck ones in her g-string.
